I am slightly confused on what the new codex changed in the weaponry that terminators are allowed to carry...
From what I understand I know that you need 10 man squads to have 2 special weapons and that a squad of 5 is only allowed 1 heavy weapon.
Does this mean that in a 10 man squad I can have 2 heavy weapons and 4 special weapons?
If you could elaborate on that it would be much appreciated. I would like to know what I can outfit in a 10 man squad and I cant find a clear answer any where.
Do I get either heavy weapons OR Special? Or can I split some special and some heavy?
It's stated quite clearly on page 64 of the Space Marine Codex. "For every five models in the squad, one Terminator choose one of the following options:"
- In a 5-Terminator squad, you can have one special weapon.
- In a 10-Terminator squad, you can have two special weapons.
There is no difference between Special or Heavy weapons for Terminators. Heavy Flamer, Missile Launcher and Assault Cannon, they all count as the same thing.
Perfect, thank you very much for answering my question. And one more question for ya! lol
Does the above statement include power weapons(fists, swords) lightning claws etc...?
No, normal terminators have only powerfists, sarge a powerweapon, the only cc upgrade are upgrading their powerfist to a chainfist, this is pretty clear in the codex.
Thanks very much guys, rep has been doled out accordingly!
