I was looking though the new rules today and I just realised, this is one of the few weapons that can kill on a glance. Due to it being AP1 it get's +1 to the roll so on a 6 on a glance it can destroy something! Please tell me if I am wrong. I am running 2 exerocists in a 1k point army :-D
Yes it does.
I object! The Exorcist was always amazing!
Well I appologise, I am a newbie Witch hunter player. I just started this week :-D I am running 2x exorcits in my 1k list. Check it out in the army section, Mech sisters :-D
And they look cool too.
Well I am picking up 2 of them today!
Be warned: they are a dog to build. I started building two a while back, and am still not finished. I do not believe there was a single metal piece that was even close to fitting at the start, and it will require extensive puttying after I finally get it all together. It also does not come with instructions, though, if you email Games Workshop they will send a pdf with them.
Thats horriable! I was going to use 3 of them in my 1500 point list, using like 5 squads of sisters with Heavy Flamers and a meltagun all mounted in Rhino's
Heh, my German Exorcist had the instructions. But you can find something about it on Librarium, too.
I'm building one right now and so far the only thing that just won't fit is the base of the organ pipes onto the hull. Well, it kinda fits, but there's a 5mm wide crack under it, which I can't seem to get rid of through filing. My new green stuff will arive tomorrow, so I'll fix it then. I'll probably re-glue the pipes with it, too. They're just so damn big and heavy!
Apart from the organ pipe part I found it pretty easy to assemble, though. But be prepared - the Exorcist weighs about 10 times as much as any other tank with all the metal parts on it.
But he's totally worth it.
