I am making a very fluffy Raven Guard and have equipped my Assault Marine Sergeants with twin Lightning Claws. Now, how do I model them?
I am thinking of using the Veteran Space Marine model who already has twin Lightning Claws and replacing his backpack with a jet pack.
Does this sound right?
Thanks in advance,

You could also chop down some Terminator Lightning Claw arms - they'll be slightly larger than your average Lightning Claws, but it should work. Then there's always the possibility of converting your own from Power Fists and the likes, which only gets difficult if you put as many claws on them as the regular GW sculpts. I'm thinking about doing a conversion where the Lightning Claws are really sort of like Lightning Katars, or punching daggers; one single sword-like blade reaching out from the fist.
Don't forget that it will still be fluffy to also give your Assault Marines weapons such as power weapons and power fists, so don't think you're limited to the claws just because you think they may be fluffier than the other options!
Also, as a Raven Guard or successor player, I invite you to join us over at the Sons of Deliverance thread in the Clubs & Clans forum. It is a clan thread where it's all about Raven Guard, from fluff to army lists to modeling and everything in between!
