    New rumors on Codex

I asked [Jervis Johnson] about the rumoured combined/not combined Inquisition book. What he stated was that Witch Hunters and Daemonhunters will remain seperate army lists, that they remain part of the planned 4-6 year edition life cycle, and that the focus will shift towards the militant chambers for each rather than the emphasis being on the Inquisitors. He indicated that the emphasis came from the fact that they were working on Inquisitor at around the same time and basically got a bit carried away.
Saw this over at Warseer. So credits to leonmallett, who posted it there. As these infos seem to come second hand from Jervis Johnson, they're probably pretty reliable. Which would fit with not having that much significance.

Well, it's not much, but a start. I for one am happy that it will focus more on Sororitas as it seems, because I'm a sisters player.

good to hear as i am starting on sisters as well. Though it would be fun to run a mostly inq list, faithful sisters seems such a good single fluffy and solid list all in one package

Oh well...hopefull they'll still update the Inquisitors a tiny bit...

Yay their updating but I hope they'll still put a little into Inquisitors I'm a fan of a proper whitch hunter army eg. combined Inquisitorial and sob in one army, and occasionly venturing into using a pure force of either of them.

Well, Jervis speaks about a 4-6 years cycle there and WH codex is from 2004 if I remember correctly. Nothing seen for 2009, so a new codex probably 2010?

Ha, at the rate space marine codex's and new rules for them come out every army in 40k can be considered outdated.

But yeh, I simply hope for new plastic models with any new possible codex, sisters and inquisitors have so much potential to look so much cooler.
