I have a problem. I've got a Savlar Chem-Dogs army made from the Forgeworld Chaos Renegades but I'm totally stuck on what colours to paint them. Due to a lack of actual models, there's no official colour scheme so I'm going to have to make one up.
It needs to be:
a) Dark and gritty, fitting for a regiment made from criminals and murderers.
b) Not mistaken for a Chaos army!
well I would think they would have a lot of muted grays, blues, and black also browns if you want them to be dirty.
For some inspiration look at the movie "Reign Of Fire" the people are not prisoners but I think there look has the look you want. I'm looking at my movies and not seeing any thing else oh there was a movie on TV it was called "The Last Castle" it has Robert Redford OK prison movie
If you do things right people wont be sure if you have done anything at all.
Why not fluorescent colors, muted? Take goblin green and mix it with greys, same with blazing orange and enchanted blue. This will will put the chem back in chemdogs!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
Voor alle nederlanders:
The Dutch Legion
I'd take a bright prison orange and grit it up beyond recognition.
