So this question may have been asked a thousand times already, but oh well. Has anyone found somewhere to mount the melta bomb bit on a marine that DOESN'T look stupid. I think the bit is way oversized.
i put it right on the hip or lower back
What do you call a lasgun with a lazer scope?
a twin linked lasgun.... HA haha haha
Yeah, same with grenades, ob his belt underneath his backpack or on the hip.
Using a spare Biker arm, I have a Marine swinging the meltabomb out behind him as if about to slap it onto a hull.
Makes him harder to transport though..

I currently play:
Doom Eagle Space Marines
Hive Fleet Omega Tyranids
Goff Ork Boyz(dead)
Tau of O'me
Inquisitorial Xeno Hunters
and my attempted foray into fantasy
'Dark Angel Green' Dark Elves in need of fluff
I use Omegoku's method combined with running legs.
Or you could add small plastic strips onto frag/krak grenades to turn them into mini melta bombs.
Hope this helps
There is no such thing as a plea for innocence in my court. A plea for innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.

Couple of my assault marines (back when the whole squad could take meltas) are modelled booting the bombs (or running away having dropped one in the path of a tank).
As you can see, I modelled my Justicar holding the meltabomb
Blais's Paint Studio-Getting broken armies good soft scores since 2009
you could do what I did with one of my assault marines and give him 6 melta bombs! 2 on the hips, 2 on the sides of his jumppack. 2 in his hands. Chainsword and BP strapped to his back. HA! My favorite model ever.
I know about the new rules but I refuse to change my model.
