Right ive just got a brand new box of SM and some Terminators for xmas. Ive put them together but I want to know if its ok to have both the Rockets and the Flamethrower in the same squad?
Sorry if its asked im just getting back into WH + 40k so im not sure about rules ext.
Im going to be playing with ethier ultramarines or Black Templers if that helps.
You can only have 1 heavy weapon per 5 terminators so with a standard 5 marine box you'd have to choose one or the other
Ah ok Ihad a feeling that would be the case as it would seem way ott for them both to be allowed.
Thanks for the help. Time to get back used to everything lol
Black Templars can still take two weapon upgrades with a five man squad. Just some food for thought.
If using a tactical squad you can take a Missile Launcher and a Flamer in the same squad, no matter what chapter.
If you are talking about terminators then Black Templars can have 2 heavy weapons in a squad, but ultramarines can only have 1 heavy weapon per 5 terminators.
Add me! Let me know your forum name too! =)
Thanks guys I just gotta choose which chapter now as I also like the Crimson fists but I know that they are few in number so Terminators for them would be rare. Anyway thanks for all the help
And if the OP had the Codex: Space Marines, he would know this...
Currently painting the Waaagh! of Warboss Borboss - Goff and Evil Sunz warband
lol I will be getting it soon. Like I said it was stuff given to me and I was expecting that with it but alas not so lol.
Crimson Fist are awesome. As for being few in number I'd not really worry about it too much. If you want to collect an Apoc sized army, like I am planning, just go ahead and do it. No where that I can find does it state their current numbers and with GW not really tracking their time line dates all to well I'd say do whatever you want.

Yea I like the fact that they are major anti-ork (An rightfully so) and because there ork specialists and the disaster/underdog story is what made me now choose them.
I got 2 Terminators done atm I will get pics up as soon as I can. 1st once ive painted since 99
