I was wondering how do people go about putting these together with an eye toward painting them when they're done. After dry-fitting the models I noticed that their cloaks will cover some details like the hip holsters. Do people paint them separate and then glue them together when they're done?
Just in case it maters any I'm painting mine following the Crimson Fists instructions in US WD343 under the Tail of Four painters section which has me airbrush them for the basecoat and for the wash stage, though this doesn't mean that I'm not open for suggestions to try something different.
Thanks for any and all help.
Usually I paint them seperately... You can always model them in whole and then when you prime them try to paint the obscured parts first... so you could just correct the mistakes!
But since you paint CF then the color differation is unnoticable... so I would leave it black if I was bored to do anything!
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
I just stick the lot together then paint. If the brush can't reach then the eye cannot see especially with a decent black undercoat.
