    Question about Nemesis Force Weapon

Could the Force effect of the NFW from a Grandmaster (or any force weapons for that matter) be negated by an enemy with Psychic Hood? Thanks.

It's a psychic power, so it's affected just the same as any other psychic power, barring any special rules to the contrary.

    So basically, yes.

    Yes.
You can also use a null rod, the GK's aegis protection, and sisters of battle (if used) are all automatically immune.

    What are you talking about?

How so? As far as I know they are immune to minor psychic abilities. Using the Force Weapons ability is not a minor ability.

it's actually one of their special 'faith' type rules. It says to treat force weapons as normal power weapons. I think it might be under the Shield of Faith rules. or round about that area.

ahh. Inquisition. how I like thy obscure rules meant to more or less nullify the tricks of the opponent.

Thank you farm punk. I have read their rule about it. They do not have to worry about DH force weapons. They do have to worry about everyone's else for they insta-kill now.

Nope, it says "treat them as normal power weapons," so all force weapons are treated like normal power weapons, old or new doesn't matter.

The wording for Shield of Faith: Force Weapons losetheir ability to kill their target out right, simply count them as power weapons.

In the newest FAQ for them they do not even talk about it.

Instant Death: If a model suffers an unsaved wound from an attack that has a Strength value of double its Toughness value or greater it is killed out right and removed as a casualty. The wording for are force weapon and the 5th ed force weapon are different. so on could argue the point because of the wording and the effects each does.
