I've been thinking of drawing a humorous comic depicting the rather infamous scene from the F-Zero anime using a Space Marine Captain with a Power Fist and a Chaos Lord, when it hit me;
It's quite possible to make a playable "Kaputen Harkuon" HQ for shits and giggles. So I'm wondering, what do you think would be the best composition for such a HQ choice?
The obvious selection for me this far is a Power Fist, but I'm thinking if it's not worth taking two Power Fists, and then mounting him on a Space Marine Bike. It would look incredibly silly and be very points-expensive, but also, hillarious beyond a doubt.
It's gotta be Kantor. He's got a powerfist and makes every marine with 12" get an extra attack by urging them to "show me your moves"
Sounds like an idea, but I'm quite adamant about not using special characters.
He can take 2 PF no problem...
He swaps out his bolt pistol and/or chainsword for a powerfist, so you get 2.
2 PF isn't pointless, you get that extra attack, it's just inefficient
Besides, Captain Falcon only uses 1 fist for his FALCON PAWNCH so you don't have to shell out for two. Put him on a bike with a storm shield (representing his aura of sheer manliness) and go nuts.
You can totally join 2 ICs to one unit, so stick Captain Falcon and his Chaplain buddy with a tricked out biker Command Squad for all sorts of ridiculous hijinks.
Model him with a powerfist but give him Lysander rules. His PUUUUUUNNNNCH should totally be 10str for epic dividing by zero plus do you really think the Cap'n will die to a single Lascannon? Bollocks.
