Oh YES! It will be mine!
I might as well forget about that mortgage payment. I'm going to need everything I can pull together to buy three Stormlord kits for open-topped 40-man carrying goodness.
Gorgon? Who needs a bloody Gorgon?
For those not getting this: This pic is from GW promotional materials for the new Stompa and Shadowsword/Stormlord kits coming out. $95 each. The rules are on Page 8 of Apocalypse Reload.
Gonna hafta buy two. One stormlord, one shadowsword!

Mmmmmm... mega-bolter... *drool*
Someday I'll have some variation of superheavy. Until that glorious day, I'll just have to console myself with many handfuls of lasgun dice in the shooting phase.
I think you need to spend more time on your floor.
2500 Black Templars
Sorry guys if I'm a little off but one thing that confuses me with 5th Ed.
Can we use the Super Heavies in a "regular" game or do we have to be playing Apocalypse to use items like this.
Imperial Guard: 2500pts 10/0/1, Space Marines: 2000pts 22/0/3
CSM: 1750pts 5/0/0, DE: 1850pts 19/0/1, ORKs: 2500pts 11/1/0,
You can't use them in tournaments. In a friendly game it'd be fine, but you have to agree to allowing a second detachment, which means your opponent gets twice as many FOC slots, as a super-heavy is its own detachment, using the imperial armor rules.
If you are going to use one in any game outside Apocalypse you need to talk about thing with your opponent first. These things are really unbalanced for anything below 3000 points unless your enemy brings things to specifically deal with it.
That being said, my group plays Apocalypse on an 8'x8' table. There are times when even a battlecannon falls short!

I haven't played apocalypse yet, but if I did, the first super heavy I would get is the good 'ole Baneblade w/4 sponsoons (you can add 2 more sponsoons as an upgrade). Though it doesnt really carry troops, very, very few tanks can outshoot it a battle.
Gimme gimme gimme. haha.
