I do apologize if this has been asked before but i cant seem to locate the answer.
i have been told that in a dark angels command squad you can have a chaplin and a librarian and they do not use any force organization slots, is this true to the best of anyones knowledge? example=2 veterans, 1 apothecary, 1 company standard, 1 company champion, 1 chaplin, and 1 librarian? my bro says it actually says yes in the codex but i cant find it anywhere.
He's wrong, that option doesn't exist. You could do it in the old Codex, so that's probably where his confusion is from.
Though logic dictates that a Librarian and a Chaplain can - as Independent Characters - choose to join a Command Squad like any other squad. Or did I miss a line?
They can join just fine, what the OP is referring to is the 4th edition marine book that let you attach a Chaplain and Librarian to your Command Squad without taking up any FOC slots.
Ok, thanks, cause he's saying it still says in DA codex somewhere, but i can't find anything like that at all.
