ok so i hear the new codex allows for lehman russ tanks to be grouped in threes and be 1 hs choice is there ne truth to that and also how many hs choices is a baneblade worth in anormal game and apocolypse
A moment of weakness spawns a life tme of heresy...
Yes there is a rumor that eman russ tanks will be grouped in squads of 1-3 for a single heavy support choice, I hope that they will work independently but they may not. That is assuming that this rumor actually follows through to the next (not new) codex.About the baneblade in normal games you can't use the rules found in the apocalypse expansion. With the baneblade being in there you can't normally use them in normal games. In apocalypse however you can use any units from any codex without force orginization charts so baneblades wouldn't use up any slots on the force orginization chart. In the imperial armour rules for baneblades you would still need your opponents permission to use it. (I think you have to ask about uning imperial armour, I don't have any IA books so i may be wrong.) also the IA baneblade came out before apocalypse so its main baneblade cannon uses the 5" template instead of the apoc baneblade's 10" one. Like I said I don't have any IA books so im not sure how many HS slots it takes up.

The leman russes in squadrons for a heavy support choice - This is a fairly prevalant and sound rumor, and my money would be on them using the vehicle squadron rules, not acting independantly. (c'mon - You're getting three for one!) However, no-one knows for sure, and no-one will know with certainty until a codex reaches our grubby little hands.
