Im just wondering if anyone can help, it says in the new codex that one veteran may be a company Champion with a power weapon and a combat shield. Then it says below that any veteran may have the option to change his weopon to a power fist or plasma pistol e.c.t.....Is the company champion allowed to change his weapon selections to a power fist and plasma pistol
Nope, once you upgrade a veteran to a company champion he comes with what the codex says. He can't be upgraded any further.
What you could do, however, is not upgrade one veteran to a company champion, and deck him in out with all the options available to you on page 132.
Hope this helps.
Could you just use all the options on one veteren AND does the command squad have a Sergeant
Nope the command squad does not have a sgt, the veterans are after all sgts in effect, look at there stats, the squad is made up of four veterans and an apothecary, hope this helps.
just bear in mind that the company champion upgrade is a little bit of a bargain considering that you get the power weapon, 6+ invulnerable save and +1 WS for the price of a power weapon so its still worth a look...
Never judge someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes...by that time they'll be a mile away, and have no shoes
Although sometimes its nice having another marine with a plasma or melta gun but meh....
I must say I enjoyed the look on my BT friend's face when he saw my command squad pop out with so many plasma guns. And of course painted somewhat nice with extra purity seals to emphesize their awesome.
SO to summarise this all up NO MORE equipment for the companyy champmion even though he is veteren upgraded to a company champion
