Anyone else noticed that, in the little "Using Daemonhunters As Allies" box on the army list page, it says something about how a Dark Angels force allying with Daemonhunters will cause the "Hunt The Fallen" rule to be suspended.
I can't find any reference to such a rule in the DA Codex and forum-searching produces only threads related to fluff. Anyone know what this rule is/ was, and why it should be suspended because of "Inquisitorial scrutiny"?
It's an old rule that doesn't exist anymore.
Does it actually do anything in game terms, or is it just fluff?
If I recollect correctly, Hunt the Fallen was a special rule for the Dark Angels to fight more effectively against certain space marines. I though I was something Chaos related...
Tyranids Win / Draw /Lost
Daemon Hunters Win / Draw / Lost
Hunting the Fallen awards extra victory points for capturing a particular model on the opponents army. However, if not captured, then the opponent gets the extra victory points.
It's in the previous edition of the DA codex.
