    Vehicle Question

I am exploring the idea of starting an Imperial Guard army. The basic thought I came up with employs a large number of vehicles (7 Chimeras, 3 Hellhounds, 3 Leman Russ tanks). Before I drop the cash on models it occurred to me to inquire if a vehicle (such as a leman russ) can engage multiple targets with its arsenal of weapons in a given turn? (assuming it has not moved). Thanks in advance.

also, do you have the codex, or some other way of working out the points? The number of chimeras and other vehicles above will not fit in a 1500 point list, 1750 or more is a must.

Also, I'd hold of the chimeras untill the new codex, just because to my knowledge we dont know what units may take them in the new dex.

    Cheers.

The list in question was a 2000 point list. I was going for a mechanised force. From the current codex it looks like IG does this better than anyone. The notion of 6 scoring units, 3 light tanks and 3 heavy tanks sounded like too much fun to ignore.
