Could you please answer these questions regarding dreads.
1- Could you just call a normal dread a venerable dreadnought
2- How could you convert a dread into a ven dread.
3- Do you get an extra attack if you have a pwr fist and a bolt pistol
1. not sure on that one
2. there is a ven. dread box set
3.no you need a second fist for the extra attack
1] Yeah, although it doesn't really follow the spirit of the idea. Ven dreads are simply older, more seasoned versions of the standard Dreadnought. While there's nothing requiring it to be some fancy, crenellated monster, it's sorta intended that they'll be more ornate. You're still free to call a normal dread venerable, but make sure your opponent knows ahead of time.
2] More details, heavier armour, fancier equipment, a special paint job... Anything you like, really.
3] Not a Dreadnought question, but whatever - no, you don't. Re-read the rulebook's section on special close combat weapons for all the details.
Does anyone know hoow to make it Iron clad??
add extra armour and stuff like that then convert it's arm to have a seismic hammer
2. GW and ForgeWorld both have Venerable Dreadnought kits. With Forgeworld have an expansive collection for specific armies. Forge World is also the place where you would get a number of the weapon choices that are given for the Dreadnought
I'd bet they release an ironclad soon - maybe when the scout skimmer comes out.
I've used my regular dread as a venerable before. Didn't Iron Hands have them before, when there was no models for the venerable. I just added a banner pole on him and some water transfers (one transfer was an eagle cut in half and put half on each shoulder - looks good IMO).
