Right so I know the units from the codex, but has there been any notion of other kinds of fighters in the WH fluff?
See I was planning on making an inquisition force which was part of the ordo hereticus which would have male warriors instead of the usual sisters of battle (with their rules though).
I know its kind of a dumb question but is it possible?
Of course with the allied rule I could use SM or IG for that but thats just not fluffy!
Thanks and thanks again for your patience.
Its Still quite Early so my wording may be off but the Ecclesiarchy specifically forbids a standing force of armed MEN under the Ecclesiarchy's control.
Thus the Sisters of Battle are formed.
I'll get you the exact quotes from the codex's later today unless someone beats me to the punch.
Why don't you just use stormtroopers?
You could take zealots, arbites, and other forces loyal to the Ecclesiarchy but not under it's direct control.
I read it as he wanted to take male faithful units....but as everyone knows messages on the interweb tubes always get mixed up
I wouldn't have a problem with this being done if it's made clear to your opponent that these male models count as SoB (an unfortunate acronym for male models).
Fluffwise, I reckon it's a no-no.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
