No, only the general Space Marines codex was updated for 5th edition. Black Templars, Dark Angels, Blood Angels and even Space Wolves still use their previous codices.

No the templars only have a 4th edition codex at the moment. You should be able to get it from just about anywhere that sells GW stuff. There is however a FAQ on the GW site.

Unless you count the BA FAQ which is pretty much a codex

The Blood Angels pdf file is the current Blood Angels codex. The FAQ for the codex is just included in the file along with it; it's not a FAQ for the published version of the BA codex, which is now completely outdated.

Downloading is a no-no and so is asking for a place to DL it from! The GW website sells all of the newest codex and has errata and FAQs as other have mentioned.

GW has said its too hard to revise a codex and make the old chapter codex work well with the new rules and new SM codex. So any in a case of conflicts, the newest SM codex supersedes the old chapter codex.

Incorrect. All rules in the chapter codices (just as in codex Daemonhunters) are stand-alone, and they do not borrow from codex Space Marines unless explicitly stated. So that means that Storm Shields, Assault Cannons, etc. can all be different yet still perfectly legal.

Not only is it a no-no with GW, it's a no-no for us, too. It's against forum rules to solicit or distribute any copyrighted GW materials. If the codex you're looking for is available on GW's Web site (such as the Blood Angels), then by all means, members are allowed and encouraged to help out by posting links to the relevant GW Web page.

In this case, we're talking about a codex that is not available for free download. For now, since the OP is having trouble buying the codex, I'm keeping this thread open. If anyone wants to help the OP find a place to legally buy it, that's one thing.

However, if I sense there's any other "help" going on here, I'll have to close this thread. Consider this a friendly reminder from your friendly neighborhood Time Lord mod -- Canew

*cough* TimeLords would have gone back to the minute after the origional post and given it some red text right there

Try Ebay. You'll have to spend a lot on shipping, but you should get what you're looking for...
