Hi all I just wanted to share a fun conversion my boyfriend and I did together. (I did, my boyfriend supplied me the parts but who's counting?)
I don't like full metal models so when i decided to use Marneus Calgar I decided to make a plastic one
Black Reach Terminator Sargeant
Forgeworld Ultramarines Terminator Shoulder Pads
Terminator Lightning claws (Snip off the claws and grind the stubs down)
2 Dreadnought bolters
Chaos Terminator Lord Cloak
Simple I'm sure you can figure out how it was done taking into account those parts and the pictures below. I know my painting sucks, but i hope you all like the conversion and if you want to of course use it
That's pretty cool, never thought of that. If I were to try something similiar I'd reposition the model into some other pose just because I can since it will be a lot easier in plastic
Most Notable Achievements:
Killed a Revenant Titan in one shot.
Killed 900 pts worth of Blood Angels in 2 turns while only loosing 4 pts.
looks like the real deal. good work on it.
I am an Indestructible master of War.
Thanks I'm real proud of it, not a big converter myself so when it came out decent i was really happy.
Very nice work, only crit is perhaps you could have GSed him Calgar's hair. I only have the old Ltd ed Calgar so I don't know if the new one has the hair, but great job with plastic conversion.
