Title says it all. my friend has an inquisitor they would like to buy a specific retinue group for and was curious if it was at all possible to buy them.
i have scoured the internet and found absolutely nothing so far.
anyone have any ideas?
Whats great about the retinue is if you find a model that looks like a crusader, then you have a crusader...now whats a crusader but a dude with a sword and a shield...plenty of those in WH Fantasy.
Same with the sages, mystics, etc..
there are no predefined models for alot of the retinue cast so you have quite a bit of latitude on which way to go =)
For Michigan Apoc news and meetups.. www.mi40k.com
They sell individual retinue models right on the gw website. bit pricey though
they only sell a couple of them on the gw site.
if the local store has a catalog you can ask the store to order the bits(acolyte models) for you that's what i do. got my sister hospitaller that way
THAT'S JAKOB WITH A 'K'!
Your best bet is to mix and match fantasy and 40k bits. I do like the crusaders they have on the GW site. I use sanctioned psykers for mystics and sages.
you can also look for models outside of Games Workshop. I know their is a sticky somewhere on this forum (porbably the modeling fourm) that had a list of websites which sold minis that are to scale with WH40k. I got my Inquisitor's retinue this way
Just remember that some stores and tournaments will probably give you trouble if a mini is not from games workshop (i think a model must be 50%ish GW) Not a problem for me since i dont play in shops or tournaments.
Nothing is cooler then a customized Inquisitor and retinue
