Welcome to Librarium Online!
See the current Pewter MOdels are expensive but i dont feel so cheap playing with them they got nice wight to them and there fun to paint. Although imagin getting 16-20 Sisters for 30$ i think id wet myself!
Not to mention you can just drop them in Accitone when you wan't to change their paint jobs.
Despite the cost, Ilike them in pewter. You can't get the same detail in plastics yet, and I'd much rather have the detail.
I think that serpentine voiced the common knowledge of almost every player but aren't the latest chaos plastic models with as much detail or even more that the sisters?
I really do not have any chaos models but from pics they look to be very detailes indeed...
If indeed one can get as much detail in plastic models as in the current sisters then of course everyone would prefer to get as many sisters for half their current cost.

Plastic sisters would be good (especially for those who haven't bought armies yet...), but I doubt it could be done, especially with the amount of robes involved in each model. The appeal of plastic models is that they can be posed, but it can never be done with the sisters and their robes, especially the way they wrap around their legs.
Agreed, except I think plastic could be incorporated into posable part plastic, part metal creations. They'd be a dream for those who convert or customise the look or their armies but a fiddley exercise for anyone else.Originally posted by idinos@Aug 9 2004, 181

And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
I can see the prospect in that, something like the 1k sons models. That could work actually!!
Perhaps the Repentias could be done in plastic although the crossguards of the Evicerators might have to be simplified.
"The sword that takes life gives life."
I actually kind of like the face on the plastic sister who sits in the Immolator. it looks more rounded and natural. The metal sisters have awesome detail and look great except that their faces all kind of look like Freddy Mercury...
Plastic for cost sure, but I buy used anyway and strip them. As for difference in the details between the two I'm not sure.
