Hi i know this may seem like a noobish question but im new to the game and i was wondering what are celestians?
I have looked up on a few websites but can find any minitures called celestians.
any help is appreciated.
celestians are pretty much just a step up from a regular battle sisters squad.
The only differences are:
-You get better WS (And holy hatred; always hit on 3+ except for MC)
-Squad is faithful by default
-You can get a dedicated Immolator
And yeah theres no specific celestian models, you just use the regular sisters models to make them.

I just realized my German WH Codex says that Celestians use the universal "preferred enemy" special rule for all enemies. Now in 4th edition this was the same as the rule stated above, but as we all (may) know, it changed in 5th edition to re-rolling to-hits (actually better).
Now I just looked into my copy of the UK/US Codex and there it's their own (old) rule, just like cHoBo stated.
Seriously, wth? I'm sick of GW Germany screwing with the rules by not translating but reformulating them, they did so several times!
Now looking at the German errata, that one has just been translated it seems. There's only one correction of a mistype of the German stuff, the rest ist from the UK/US errata. No word about Holy Hatred.
Grrr, how shall the daughters of the emperor prevail when localization staff just makes stuff up?
Well, our gaming round always said that UK rules overpower German rules, so that's the way it will be for me. (not using celestians right now, anyway)
