HELP what do relic blades look like??
IMO - anything with a more detailed appearance than a standard power weapon
They are really just larger, more ornate power weapons, so extend the hilt of a power sword and your sorted.
If your model has a larger than normal power weapon, class it as a relic blade and your sorted =)
They're described as ornate two handed blades.
So almost any warhammer greatsword or axe will qualify IMO...
this giant weapon is easily a relic blade. i originally bought him with the intent to use it as a relic blade (and maybe to represent vulkan). changed my mind and converted it to a thunder hammer.
Relic blades are anything you want, my commanders is modeled as a spear
Anything, since my Assault squad is completely armed with power axes, and saber tooth tusks on hafts I use the ONE with a chainsword as my relic blade sgt. (makes my opponents laugh). I just created some fluff behind it, like how rare a chainsword is in my chapter (as everyone has the saber tusks when it comes to my army)
i use the emperor's champion converted with a storm shield for my captain with relic blade
Please don't cut me at the knees short scary giner person with a beard.
