I was surfing BoLS and it seems they have some rumors on there main page today. Normally with rumors like this we can take it as GW has been tooling away at there new dex.
Warhammer 40k & Warhammer Fantasy Battle News | Bell of Lost Souls: 40k RUMORS: Space Wolves Ho!
Fleet of Foot AND Rending? Why don't we just give em an Earthshaker cannon and Living Metal while we're at it!? My god.-Wolf Guard (in terminator armour) with lightning claws rack up 6 attacks on the charge each. A very broken thing to do is put them with Ragnar Blackmane, who gives them Fleet of foot and rending, though dont' quote me on rending.
Fleet Terminators? That makes no sense at all...
Where are they getting all this info? some of it sounds a little far-fetched.
But I DEFINETELY like the sound of wulfen coming back in and all the new special characters. And Bjorn the Fell-Handed.
There are some pretty interesting rumors. If even half are true, its going to be really sweet (or uber cheese depending on your viewpoint.)
I'm excited for them to update the SC model range. Logan Grimnar is fine because we was one of the first upgraded terminator models (of course, i'll take a new model too). Rangar Shaggybritches is one model that is in serious need of updating. (unless you like your marines static)
The more recent models that they have come out with have been really detailed and good. (the games day rune and wolf priests) The Twin Lightning Claw Wolf Guard model they just released is so incredibly awesome. Just finished painting him last night. Crazy awesome. I'd suggest if you are a SW fan, get that model just for the sheer awesomeness.
So you must hate shirke then because the fleet thing is said to be a ragnar blackmain rule that confers to the unit he is in. The wolf guard in termie armour dont get it standerd. And if you think fleeting termies is wrong what about the suposed Bjorn Fellhanded having AV 14 on all sides
Yeah, like i said to my buddy DiW: it's the whole shrike thing. Idiots at GW.
That's bad, but not as patently awful as the fleeting dreads, i mean, it's just one model with probably a normal rate of movement and high cost, so Bjorn will probably balance out, but termies running up the field?! The whole idea of termies used to be: slow, undying warriors fcoming slowly at their enenmies, but now the dash across the table?!
Thats some "sweet" info.
But it is still just rumors...
no hammers = codex in bin
I kind of have the idea that the Space Wolves are going to be Lightning Claw Crazy in the new book.
Here is the link to the model...
