    SW-> LR Redeemer or Crusaider?

    The title says it all. I just bought a LR Redeemer/Crusaider for my SW army and I'm not sure which I should build it as. I'm currently planning on running some BCs and Ragnar in it so they could slaughter with imputy without having to worry about being shot to pieces like as if they were in a rhino. Last time I took them in a rhino I kept hoping my opponent would destroy it so I could charge next turn. I don't particularily want to go though that again.

    Next purchase will be assault terms which I'll use with AOBR terminators to make 5 TH/SS and 5 LC termies if that information would help with making a decision.

    Redeemer - AP3 flamer - Yes Please!

    Hits automatically, kills marines on a 2+. Out hops a SW choppy choppy unit to finish the job!!

    Remember, put the sponsons as forward as possible!

    Depends on what you usually face, if your going to be facing down hordes of orks/nids/gaurd the hurricane bolters might do better. However for general value, redeemer wins hands down. auto hit 95% chance of killing marines, cant go wrong really.

    I personaly like the crusader better, It´s nice to be able to move 6 and fire all your weapons, something the redeemer canot do.

    Its a shame its not easier to swap sponsons. Both have their value. I just put together the hurricane bolters for my LRC for my SWs. I think a hail of bullets is more fluffy than some flaming liquid though (don't want to risk singing the fur on our wolf pelts and tails.)

    Ok, I think I'll go LR Redeemer. Thanks for your help.

    Do users of the Space Wolves codex have access to these land raider variants? I thought the redeemer was for codex marines player only.

    your opponent must give you permission first otherwise you can only use the basic LR.

    Just looked up the official Space Wolves FAQ. Here's what it says:

The exception to this is the Venerable Dreadnoughts, which must be chosen from the Space Wolves army list (as detailed on page 7), and not the Space Marines army list.
    So, Space Wolves are allowed Land Raider Redeemers.

    Re: Space Wolves FAQ. Wow nifty. I hope they do something similar for Blood Angels.

    I have a Redeemer for playing my BA as vanilla marines. I'd love to use it for Blood Angels as well. I'd like to think of it as a bigger Baal Predator so they kinda fit in the army.
