Im on my conversion and modeling spree... hopefully it will be followed by a painting spree *cross fingers*!
Now it is time for seraphim. I have two questions:
Question one is regarding the hand-flamethrower seraphim. Sadly GW made only one model of this one. I want to use a flamethrower sister, from a battle sister squad, equipped with a jump pack in place of flamethrower seraphim. How would it be viable to get it as close to WYSIWYG, or maybe I should have a chansword hanging from her waist or something like that?
Second part is a rule question;
The VSS is let to pick any weapons she is allowed to have from the armoury...
Eviscerator is quite a competent choice in my book, but does har having an eviscerator replaces one or both of the bolt pistols?

I would have no problem with the flamer seraphim but some people might say you wont get that extra cc weapon attack
second, you can still hold one bolt pistol while wielding a two handed cc weapon, you still wont get that extra cc weapon attack

For flamer seraphim, I was thiinking to make some sort of a sword hanging from her back or some CC weapon.
As for VSS, I understand that holding a 2h weapon does not yield an extra attack. The question is if she retains both of her pistols for a twin-linked shot as well as for an option to have a regular +1 attack without eviscerator stats.
Simple - Look at the wording. Does it say "replace" like in the Marine codex, or "equip" or "give" or something similar instead?
The flamer thing isn't possible to WYSIWYG because she's supposed to have two hand-flamers, not a flamer and a CCW; how would you make that count as twin-linked for shooting? If you've got a steady hand and half an hour spare it's not hard to turn an ordinary Seraphim's bolt pistol into a hand-flamer; just GS a fuel tank over the ammo clip and a conical jet with an igniter oer the barrel. You might even try cutting down two plastic flamers (the ones you get in Dreadnought kits might be good if you wanted to do that).
As with everything though, if you're just playing friendly games it really doesn't matter, your flamer/ CCW thing would be fine
Actually, Frank, read the Seraphim rules again. Twin hand flamers = a flamer, plus you get an extra attack in CC.
Chances are, a flying flamer sister would work just fine. That's just me though.
Also,don't remember if this is answered, but if you take an extra weapon of some sort on the Superior, it does drop you a weapon. This codex adheres to the old rules, which used to state 2 1-handed weapons or a 2-handed weapon and a 1-handed weapon.

Then again you could also just do a weapon and head swap with another Seraphim.
