I probably won't end up doing it, and its probably not the best of ideas. I was just wondering since the codex(Ultramarine) says I can have Twin linked heavy bolters and two twin linked lascannons (If im not alloud to post that, tell me and ill remove it asap). The pictures show the bolter on top and lascannons on the side, If i wanted could I have a lascannon on top, a heavy bolter on one side, and a lascannon on the other?
Just something I am curious about. Thanks ^^
You can't do that!!!
Ok, thanks ^^
personally i'd say as long as the guns are on there you could have them duct taped together into a big ball and stuck to the inside of the assault ramp they're on the model and you get to use them. then again, just remember what it does to your firing arcs.
As Itshiv said, as long as they are on the model, you can do what you want with them. The problem really does come to firing them, as moving them around changes the firing arcs.
With your opponent's permission, you could just say that "all modified weapons have the default/expected firing arcs" and play as normal - then again, if you played in a tournament, they wouldn't allow you to play like that.
I'm thinking that because it would change the firing arc, that it would not be permitted. Placing a set of the Lascannons on the top would allow a much greater firing field to fire 2 sets of Lascannons at a unit.
If you wanted to mount them in a new design way to make your land raider unique that would be fine, but the default firing arcs would still need to be used when firing upon the enemy.
