I know its a lot of points but It has like 27 rerollable power attacks on the charge with inquisitorial mandate. We rolled it out and it was something like 14 marines dead. SO do you think its worth it?

For one, Acolytes (notice the spelling) can't take nearly that many points in wargear or weapons.

Also, check out the armor saves for everyone in that unit. Some heavy shooting would decimate this unit, and they don't have a transport or any real firepower to throw back.

He's right, acolytes may only have 15 points.

Also, remember that Eviscerators go last, so assuming they survive they can attack.

Ok I guess. A S3 force weapon won't wound many multi-wound models though as they usually have fairly high T as well.

Acolytes can only carry 15 points of wargear. You have them carrying 40 points each. They can't even take eviscerators period. About all you could do is give them plain old non-MC'd power weapons.

See codex pg 27 for priests. It specifies what units a priest can be attached to. An =I= choice is not one of them.

Umm.. Mastercrafting allows only 1 reroll per turn. As well, you cannot use the mandate if you have moved. Thus, you can never get the charge bonus and the mandate bonus in the same round of CC. There is no way, even if the list was possible to purchase, to get 27 rerollable power weapon attacks.

I will not use the inquisitor without a land raider. The inquisitor and his retinue have been pretty weak for me when I have used them in close combat, they are usually the last ones standing in my games, and my retinue is killed within a turn. With the land raider I can get them up there fast, and have some backup fire before running into combat. The list has a few faults like the guy said above me, but other than that it may work for you.

Ok so my list was a little off but the acolytes con have the mce b/c only the mc counts towards the wargear limit, I know its cheesy but I asked gw and they said it was legal.

Still, you have three expensive models that are on a 6+ armour save and low toughness, who also strike last in combat, meaning that chances are that the marines you tested them against would have killed them before they even got to reroll those missed to hit rolls. Only effectiveness I can see is against a Tau player who is unlucky. You also need to get them into combat, as it is, only the inquisitor and the crusaders have any saves worth speaking of.
