My google-fu is proving lacking, does anyone know of anywhere i can find pictures of female commissars / peaked caps - preferably clip art style?
I want this to do a "pin up" art for the nose of a valkerie, and if needs be i'd rotate, shrink and fit a cap onto a WWII "bomb rider" girl, but a commissars jacket would be better. Maybe with styalised writing saying "Commissars wish" in a slant behind it.
(I intend to print my own decals)

Well I'm sure it's an old model. Looks fine by those standards.
Also, I totally own that model.
Yeah, it's a rather poor model
I would love it if GW made an IG ladies sprue, had female guardsmen/officers/commissars/ect bodies.
Or at least some metal ladies, oh well.
Yeah, that would be cool. The only problem then is how many ladies do you use? Maybe 70/30 male/female would be a good ratio. I keep almost building female officers/commissars and then deciding not to. It seems weird that the whole army is dudes except for their colonel or commissar who for some reason is a woman that's somehow shattered the glass ceiling
I've never seen that model before. I wish i hadn't thats horrible. Where was that made?
I just can't see a commissar dressed up with her boobs out, eyeshadow and bleach blonde hair. It just doesn't work in my head.
I did a City fight army consitsting of Metal Catachans and Escher gangers, that worked pretty well. It deffinatly had the 'straight out the hive' feel to the army.
That was a limited edition Games Day Only model from around ten years ago. I bought it back then at the event. It fit the house style back then, though the pose was always a tad too static. I think the 3rd edition Codex hadn't even been released yet.
I hate to break it to y'all, but this is actually the model that inspired the whole female commissar thing.
This art is clearly inspired by it:

RecklessFable's Journey to Mediocrity (Painting an IG army)
I've been addicted to World of Tanks lately and neglecting my IG... But it is so... much... fun!
chics and army don't mix.. too sensitive for that. War is solely a man's joy!! Got to love the smell of maimed bodies in the morning
