    I am curious as to how the new rules will affect the Blood Angels. The Blood Angels rules and fluff state that they specifically train for disembarking from fast moving vehicles, thus the supercharged engines rule. I never thought much of the "Rhino Rush" as I mostly always have been able to destroy the Rhinos before they could even get close.

    come to think of it i have never used a Rhino in my army, a baal predator and a whirlwind but I rarely if ever use rhino's for anything except shields.

    When I first started blood angels I would take my 2 rhinos and rush them up and say I couldn't reach then I would just get as far as possible then use smoke launcher and then my men inside would be safe for the next turn, But now I just use one rhino and mainly use it to shield but vs such armies like tau I would use the handy dandy rhino rush so swoop up and drop off my troops at his frontline fire warriors and my troops would thrash'em!! But now I think the BA got screwed over! The only reason their rhinos are more points than regular rhinos is because of rhino rushing. After the new rules come out I WILL NOT use any more rhinos .............unless its vs. Tau

    Rhinos are pretty good but I dont use them very much, they cost like 50 points but a good side is it can take a pounding. Good shield for 50 points though, Especially when you take the few point (cant remember exacly how many but its not much) to get smoke launchers

    Ba rhinos are not 50pts they are 65pts....just telling you, and Smoke launchers is 3pts

    Lol thnx man, Just trying to pull from memory. I think normally the rhino is 50 isnt it?

    Yes a normal one is.. BA rhinos atm cost 15 extra points for nothing. I really hope GW realizes that super charged engines are a joke since you're pinned if the vehicle is destroyed making the extra movement useless due to a rhinos almost gauranteed destruction (odd since marines are supposed to have tough fast assault vehilces that arent worse than a chimera)

    Hopefully GW will release a new BA codex, or the new Space Marines codex will fix that conflict of rules.

    If Space Marines get access to a doctrine system, you think they'll have a Blood Angels doctrine?

    I am sure that the reason why it was 15pts more was because for one it can be super charged and on the charge you goes get +1 to S and I and thanks to the rhino you get there alot quicker. Is it fair? I dont know cause rhinos are pretty weak. Frankly most BA players take jump backs so whatever.
