Im planning on using Hector Rex from Forgeworld for my Inquistior Lord, and I could use some help. First, does anyone know if FW ever printed specific rules for him? Second, using just the WYSIWYG rules, could someone help me out by listing what wargear from the Daemonhunter codex could be given to Hector. I'm not asking that anyone leak his rules or anything, just help me pick out what gear is visible on his model. I'm really bad at identifying the different weapons and bits. Thanks!
I think he was made for the Siege Of Vraks, you'll probably find specific rules for him in there.
As far as the wargear that I can see, he's got a Storm Shield, a Psychic Hood and a sword, which you could easily claim as a power or force weapon, ornate power armour (easily passed off as Artificer Armour), a little thingy hanging off his belt (Icon of the Just/ Holy Icon), an Inquisitorial Mandate thing pinned to his cape, and what looks to be an Inferno Pistol in his belt (though DH Inquisitor Lords can't use inferno pistols in 40K so you could claim it as a master-crafted version of some other kind of pistol, or a superfluous thing, since he has a SS and CCW already). There's no reason any of these things couldn't be considered as simply decoration though. The henchmen I'd use as Mystics, Sages or Hierophants, they're not really WYSIWYGed to represent Warriors or Acolytes.
The rules for him are in the Siege of Vraks Part III book which is due out soon. I had a look at his rules in the preview copy they had at the Forgeworld open day but cannot remember any details.
