Im a long time collector, reader and painter but have never actually played a game!!!. To get started I want to play a few 500pt games to get the feel of the fists and just to doubly make sure they're the ones for me.
I know almost excatly what I want on the list. I love the idea of a vindicator for a little suprise in the list. So here goes:
Tactical Squad 170pts
- 10 men, flamer, missle launcher
Tactical Squad 90pts
- dozer blade
That leaves me with 120 points for a HQ choice. This is where i need the help. I have no idea who to use, Libby, chaplain or captain.

First off, you will typically need two troops choices and one hq choice to play, but if its a friendly game it should be no big deal. Definately go for the Captain, only cause you can keep him cheap for now. I suppose if you were going to counter charge enemy units that might want to jump the vindicator, you should take a chaplain.
THats my only advice =) In the Soul Drinkers book, Crimson Tears, there is a contingent of Crimson Fists if you want inspiration.
My suggestion would be to take a chaplain, and give him digital weapons. Drop the dozer blade from the vindicator, and give the 5-man tactical Sgt a power weapon, then join the chaplain to the 5-man squad.
He's got 2. 1 - 10 man tactical and 1 - 5 man tactical. Don't worry I missed it the first time too.
