I'm wondering what exactly is in the basilisk box. Are there enough parts to construct a chimera? What about the 3x basilisk box - anyone know if you can buy 3 chimeras for the price of 2.5ish?
Although a little different anyone hear anything about hydra models beside the forge world ones?
I'm interested to know where you get the 3 x Basilisk Box from. Is it from Buy4less?
Uhm.. I think I read somewhere that it'd be released in a hydra/manticore(/colossus?)-kit.. Can't remember where or when though.. so it might be false =)Although a little different anyone hear anything about hydra models beside the forge world ones?
Although I heard it at the same time as I heard:
Both which have been confirmed now I think..?
Other sets would be:
well those were just the rumours I heard anyway.. and guess that was what you asked for.. nay?
chimera's a totally different beast (actually model kit)
Good luck finding the 3 for 1 basilisk box. I've tried to order it from several places and they all say they're out of stock.
Warseer had some info on a IG 1.5 release with some pictures of vehicles.
the 3 bassy box was a limited run. it was a good deal but you'd have to dig around the intarwebs to possibly find it somewhere still available.
So far I've only seen glimpses of the hellhound and demolisher plastic kits like everyone else, but it would be cool to see a hydra / manticore make it into the list of plastics before the end of the year as well. Same with the new arty pieces. After putting together 2 of the forgeworld hydras, plastic would be a welcome change (unless you're playing orks with looted hydras.. then you dont' have to bother with reshaping the barrels=)
I'm confused. Y'all are talking about the box that comes with 3 Basilisks right? One of the stores in Texas sells it and we're never out of stock. I think it runs like 90$ or so.
I phoned up GW and asked politely if i could have 3 for 2 as they'd sold out of the apoc. sets.
The phone troll was very accomodating and said yes.
(this was about october last year mind, but it's worth a phone call)
Hmm... do you have a sales direct GW phone number in the US?
either way, I wouldn't bother now (bassies are poor.)
