Now i've just been trauling ebay and i've seen this 'limited' metal catachan lass with a grenade launcher going for about £20.
I've seen it in my local GW. I know it 'used' to be limited but it crept back into general sale months ago.
Is this just 'old stock' at my local GW or something? Is this just the case in the UK? Should i go and buy the shelf, whack them on Ebay and make a mint?

There is an Australian company called Shadowforge Miniatures who make female figures and some of their mercenary types would be ideal to go with catachans.
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
It's part of the Catachan Assault Weapons blister. It's not old stock.
But due to the overall lack of female IG, people seem to assume it must be limited... so I guess it's worth a try.

if pro is the opposite of con, does that mean progress is the opposite of congress?
Is it the one that looks like Pvt vasquez from aliens?
I bought this model for 3 Euros
I heard it was in catachan special weapon blisters for a while, not sure if they still are.
All in all not worth 20bucks, it was still in production and in shops in the recent past.
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

Quite annoyingly though, not for sale in the UK.
GW in all it's wisedom sent the female moulds for the catchan grenade launcher and the female commissar over to the US, as part of their programme to be more PC to the US market. Shipping one mould vs shipping crates of metal minis = one mould is shipped.
(and, my god, this thread will be inundated after saying this: That's why they killed squats (and suicide bombers and shooting into melee) - for more PC marketing.
Since a one piece metal mold costs Circa £ 18,000 (New plastic hydraulic moulds cost £25,000) to produce (Total cost) they don't make copies - that's the reasoning behind why the classic range is so high (to cover the costs for replaceing the moulds when broken). Or that's the official business quote anyway. to be fair, they really are very expensive, and it makes some sense.
Anyway, I'm blathering.
