    GM with a Psycannon worth it?

    Hey guys, just was wondering if giving my Grand Master a psycannon is worth its points or should I just leave him with a SB.

    i think he is better left as a CC unit because he is a lot better then terminators unlike the brother captain so i would say keep the SB.

    Since a GM comes with Terminator armour, True Grit doesn't apply. So if you desire a stronger ranged weapon then by all means go for the psycannon.

    Plus he is the best shoot we have! he has BS 5 ie hitting on 2s so GM with a Psycannon is the best deal you can get!

    Power sword and Master crfted NFW is the same amount of points and better imo. It depends how you run him, footslogging or mech.

    Power sword & MC-NFW? Why would you want to waste your money on that?

    Personally, I think if anyone should get the psycannon, it would be the GM with his BS5 and relentlessness. But it also depends on how large your army is and your strategy. If 1000pts or higher, I would go for the psycannon. Anything lower, I'd probably just leave him with his SB. Also, if my plan was to put him in a Land Raider for assault, I'd get an Incinerator instead.

    5 attacks base, 6 on the charge with 1 re roll at I5 does it for me. Pre charge is all very well but I've had incinerators and SB fire kill too many attackers for me to then charge (my mistake, a bit gun ho ) so I just like enhancing his all ready great CC ability with another attack.

    power weapon = special weapon

    NFW = special weapon

    special weapon + normal cc weapon = +1A

    special weapon + same special weapon = +1A

    special weapon + different special weapon = no +1A

    Thus, power weapon + NFW = no +1A

    Sorry.

    Oh well, my GM with NFW and power sword is now just going to be a paired bladed NFW. Le sigh. To note then is that there is NO non special cc weapon for GKT
