In the SW Codex it says they get 1 HQ slot for every 750pts. I read that as getting one HQ slot for each full 750pts, so in a 750pt game they'd get a Wolf lord, in a 1500pts game they'd get 2 Wolf Lords, 2250pts game they'd get 3, and so on.
However, I see a lot of people running 2 HQ units in 1000pt games and 3 in 1750-2000pt games. Is that right?...
I believe that the ruling is that you need one HQ for every 750pts, once you go over that, you need another, no matter how much, so in a 750pt game you get 1 HQ, in a 751pt game you get 2. Making sense?
If you call it a Missile launcher, then it'll never hit anything.
100% of people who aren't Karmoon know Saraneth is invincible.
Makes sense now; I thought it was rounded down, so you'd only get 1 HQ between 751 and 1499pts. Which, now that I think about it, seems a little harsh.
A SW army of 1000 points must have 2 hqs as the codex says round fractions up. a 1501 army must have 3 hqs.
Also Wolf Lords are a 0-1 choice
I get that now. The Wolf Lord was for illustration purposes
On a second side not, the space wolf lord's points are included in the 750 pt boundaries correct?
I'm not here for the respect, just here to spread the clarity of a very complicated game
I am hoping this rule will change when the new codex arrives. It is somewhat limiting at times.
