Hey i am going to play 4000 pts battle with my friend.Black templars vs chaos.Which apocalipse asset to take tell me plz
We could do with a bit more information. What list are you using, what kind of things is he using?
Rork: In the dark future of the 41st millennium there is only friendship.
Fenrir: and magic.
Kaiser-: My Little Chaos Marine, Friendship is Heresy?
Without more details about what you're army is composed of, and how you plan on using your army, then we cant really help you. We can guess, but it probably wouldn't help at all...
Ideally, we need to know :-
Your full army list
Basic tactics for your army
Your opponent's full army list
Any knowledge on how your opponent prefers to play (even at lower point levels)
What the board size will be (not essential but helps)
Some army info would be a big help, as would some sentence structure.
Replacements always does me nicely, I just buy something STUPIDLY expensive like a fully kitted out Vanguard squad and throw it into battle. 2 turns later it's dead, and then comes back on again.
Meanwhile, my entire army has moved into position to wreck the joint.
I especially like to do it with my BA Stormlord, which rocks in at a total of 800 points. A 250pt asset bringing back an 800 point superheavy is probably the best value for money you're likely to get ;-)
In apocolypse infintry lasts as long as Ice in a fire. I'd go with almost all tanks. Any infintry would be purely one target. Such as deepstriking a squad of termies with thunder hammers next to their superheavy.
Lots of tanks, superheavies if possible. Titan if at all possible.
If you're sneaky, flank attack is nasty.
May the Emperor forgive you, for his servants cannot.
