Okay, I'm about to go to WHW after work today (one of the benefits of driving past it twice a day!) and pick up/order some armour (possibly FW stuff).
I just can't decide what anti-armour to get, a Vendetta sounds good but is a little fragile (autocannon fire would bring it down), a Vanquisher/Pask combination is good but expensive and only good against armour, I've got some Meltas but they are in squads mounted in Valks so I only want to bring them in once I've managed to pop the most serious threats.
The other options are devil dogs but as my army isn't fast moving they'll be on their own (and dead probably as a result).
I keep wondering about the Medusa, although a little fragile they pack a real punch and can be used for infantry killing in addition to a russ or two (which would also help shield them somewhat from enemy fire).
I'm running a mostly gun line army, what are thoughts on this (although I know it's been covered a multitude of times before I still like to get opinion).
it'd be like a german anti tank marauder from WWII, they were open topped, and lightly armored, but were used to snipe enemy armor from distance.

I use the medusa in my army list. I have to say that I have gotten great results from it. It can take out most heavy tanks with ease. I havent lost it once in a game which I guess you can say is surprising. Lets just say its nice to have when terminators are on the prowl.
I'm not sure the bastion breaching shells are worth it though. I think I prefer the big template, because then it's really hard to miss and you usually get some overlap onto other units. 36" range is usually enough.
