So im having a bit of trouble against a friends Ork army (1500pts).
He recently got 3 battlewagons which im slowly learning to deal with and recently hes started using Biker Nobz. These guys alone chewed up almost 400 points of my units and had taken like 4 wounds by the time the game was over (since he decked out each one differently he was spreading wounds. Much raging was had at that and feel no pain).
What is an effective counter for these?
The only thing i can think of personally is sternguard with the hellfire shells or maybe kraken with librarian and nullzone or god forbid a lucky first turn orbital bombardment? Any help with dealing with nob bikers and a cheesed out ork list would be great

Personally my friend played this crap as well, i guess it was 9 bikers or so. Take 10 sternguards, put them in a drop pod, give them combi meltas... shoot 10 melta shots at them and watch them dieas well, orbital bombardement is nice when they are 7+ man strong, you can´t really miss, combined with sternies, don´t be afreid of them.
5(10?)xAssault Terimanators with Thunder Hammers maybe? I don't have any personal experience with Nob Bikers but I can't imagine Assault Terminators having trouble with them.
Try a Vindicator or two.

Although I've never tried this (don't play nob bikers that often) I think using tremor with the thunderfire cannon might be worth trying out.. difficult terrain will be dangerous to them
Sternguard, assault terminators, and vanguard would be my recommendations.
But I've recently become a fan of the vindicator, and LR crusader (put termys in it along with a CM with like relic blade or dual lightning claws ) But thats just me
Anything that is AP2 and under.

Also, this is one of those scenarios where if you have a melta/ML tac squad you might not want to fire your bolters if you have more shots than there are enemies because if you deal more wounds then there are enemies they can start stacking up the ID shots onto one guy and lessen the odds of having more orks die.
