Has anyone used it yet? Is it any good?
In a month or so I will be playing in a 6000 point doubles tournament, and my partner and I will be fielding 3 of them, each with 5 Scouts, probably shotguns/bolters and seargent with a melta bomb to go tank hunting. Storm itself will be upgraded with MM. Remember that this vehicle has Scouts USR, which means it can turbo boost before the games starts 24", then depending on if you get first turn, you could go move 12" more, disembark and charge from it (open topped). While this hasn't been play tested yet, it still sounds really good to do, specially since the tanks havn't moved yet :-P (granted you get first turn).
Like i said, it hasn't been play tested yet, so when we get a game in sometime this next week, I'll let you guys know how it works out.

A friend of mine used it in a 2,500 points doubles game a month ago. It performed pretty well. As our opponents army was a deep striking one, the Storm was a nice, mobile fire base which also became a handy fast troop carrier to contest an objective to win us the match.

Salamander project log
ahh yes, i use 2 of these suckers in 1500 now,, they work wonders, they add a new dimension to the space marines we didn;t have before,, something that i as an old eldar player love. they are great, with a sergheant with a combi flamer and a powerfist they can clean up hordes or take down meq's and tanks, plus they force your opponent to be carefull where they deploy.
on a point for point basis i love them!

I considered taking them for the first turn PF rush, but I then realized scout bikers would be much better (cheaper) for this role and add some more flexibility on top..
I don't give much for the launcher and albeit the jammer is interesting I find it to cover a too small area to be all that effective, maybe if you fielded several of them it could pose a problem for a ds heavy army.. (Planet Strike anyone?)
There's of course also the option of having the scouts stick inside the craft and fire sniper rifles or whatever from there, using the storm for protection and last turn objective graber.. Hmm..
