Any idea on what palnet strike holds for Grey Knights?
Are we about to kick serious @ss or what?
i think daemonhunters will come into a whole new light with planetstrike for 2 big reasons, reorganised FOC and deepstrikers being able to assault. being able to take like 8 termie sqauds that can assault on the turn they deep strike is going to mean all kinds of pain. i for one am building up that many terminators to do just that.
planetstrike is a new, awesome chapter for the daemonhunters
also, AT, there are no scoring units in planetstrike. if youre attacker, all you need is one model touching the objective. and if youre touching an objective being held by the defender, the attacker gets it. it doesnt say anything about having to be troops. so theoretically that one little model can win the game for you.
When in doubt, more Bloodcrushers
My dreams of a Grey Knight Terminator "Deathwing" type army will now come to fruition...unless, of course, I'm defending.
on the attack GKT and FAGK will be very scary potentially, incinerators will also come into their own
on defense, inquisitor gun seritor ahoy
btw, how do they work against drop pods deep striking, can they fire on disembarking squad with free shots or does it have to be the pod??
as the pod is mid air when (/if) destroyed do ppl plummet to death lol (hopeful i know)
im not sure having re-read mystic rules and drop pod rules
mystic gets it against deepstriking unit and 'technically' it's the pod deep striking, not the squad
either way, baack on topic i think planetstrike pulls daemonhunters to top of pile
One thing that isn't so good for DH is the lack of good ways to bring down those AV14 bunkers. The bunkers being what the main purpose of Planetstrike is all about, our lack of good anti-tank weapons isn't going to bode well.
Eyes without life, maggot-ridden corpses, mountains of skulls.
These are some of my favourite things.

IST meltas, melta-bombs on GM, BC and Justicars, and TLLC dread as always lol
Melta torpedo on one you're sending GKTs after if you have a spare XX points, unreliable, but hey worth a shot
anyone know what the ample point cost for an army is for planet strike
