Are they worth it? Can you take serviators with them, or is there no point whatsoever (serviators on bikes could be interesting, or a multi platform assault bike mechmarine :o ) ? i have an army list floating about, very much assault mech with support from several units, is the techmarine worth having in there?
Since they've changed how Blessing works (so you can repair in the Shooting phase regardless of movement), your Techie only needs a 5 to repair damage nowadays (instead of a 6), and taking a bike doesn't stop him taking a Servo Harness (which adds +1 to his repair rolls, gives him 2 bonus powerfist attacks, a twin-linked plasma pistol and a flamer, making him a bit nasty in CC too), I'd say Techie Bikers would be a nice little asset to have if you're heavily mechanised. Expensive, considering he's still a single-wound model with no invulnerable save (why oh why did they take his spare wound away?), but there are worse ways to spend 110pts.
EDIT: The Techie doesn't have to be joined to his Servitors so taking a unit of Servitors with a Biker Techie is fine, just bear in mind that as a Biker the Techie can't join his Servitors and Mind Lock is a substantial handicap.

Nice one Frank, that was real useful. My army isnt insanely mechanised, as it has lots of scouts to back it up, but 2 razorback, a predator, 2 land raiders and a rhino seems like something to help out in my minds eye at least heh.
I posted a thread a little while ago("Conversion Beam Biker") on how a MotF on a bike with a conversion beam might be a good idea to try out. I'd say MotF/TM on a bike is actually a pretty good idea in many cases.

I have one with a bike and harness but I only use him as a MOtF, I tried as a techmarine and he got killed by some troops because of attacking last - I think he only has 1 wound?!
You can have fun modeling that with all the room on a bike as opposed to the backpack. Mine looks awesome, though not finished painting. The plasma pistols are mounted on the front of the bike, just under the bolters. The flamer comes out from the side with the hose leading to the gas tank. On the other side of the trike (built from attack bike) where the heavy weapon would go is a saw blade from a sentinel and a large mechanical claw - to count as the two power fists (the claw grabs and the saw cuts the target up - good for fortifing cover too I would imagine.
There is a mechanical horse coming out for an IG character. It would be cool to cut its head off (this is a message from...) and make a bionic centaur-tech-marine.
I made him before the last codex or I might have done the conversion beamer - it would be so easy to get long range shots on the bike.

I ended up changing it to a libararian on bike atm, and will have a techmarine on bike coming later, who will be a mighty conversion. Dont even no how his bike is going to carry him. Could turn it into a mighty walking spider/servo-armed bike, or an insanely slick jetbike since hes a techmarine. Or just a bike with shit loads of servo arms and guns and drills and happy stuff
I use the librarian on the bike more often, with the Vortex power.
Aside from killing himself the first time I ever used him, he has done much damage in later battles.
I would recommend a librarian w/ bike over the techmarine w/ bike. Good choice. Not as fun to model... but fun to play.
