I'm trying to work out how much room I'm going to need for my future purchases in a KR Multicase, and as I don't have one here I thought I'd double check with you knowledable ladies and gentlemen:
1) In the same way a Whirlwind can be made into a Rhino by swapping the top plates I assume it's similar for the Predator, yes?
2) How heavy are the sponsons, would they stay on easily enough with magnets or is it easier to make swappable weapons but leave the sponsons themselves glued on?
They are all interchangeable. The side sponsons are fairly lightweight and stay in place without the use of magnets on my Predator.

i found the side sponsons where the gun is attached to the light/camera/laser point/what ever you wanna call it on top of it to fairly flimsy and are a right paint to try and glue back together once they snap. Id use magnet to attach them if I ever get another one

I'd like to add that the Vindicator, while it shares a Rhino chassis, is designed in such a way that you can't interchange the parts freely. Even if you left the Siege Shield off, the Demolisher Cannon and the extra plating on the top of the vehicle makes it impossible to swap around.
