First of a little about my army in general.
Its a Space Marine army based on the idea of Kayvaan Shrike ( Raven Guard Captain ) not being the Raven Guard Captain
After he was stuck behind the enemy lines and used hit and run tactics - trained up his 'wing' here, he left and recruited from all 'related' chapters.
The Raven Guard offered no man support but onld used vechiles
Knights of the Raven offerd men
going through each raven related chapter and gaina in strength as he did so, it soon became clear that his 'rag a tag' army was a force to be reconend with.
As such a Chaplain seeing teh destructive ways and in need of moral support (his men often never hving time to rest as being driven into teh heart of battle again ana again) joined and lent his support.
Eventually Shrikes army goubed the attention.-
a (insert chapter here) saw that this was an excellant oppotunity to use in order to train up there assualt terminators, sending off 3 full fleged ( eqquipped with hammers and shields ) along with 2 nearly graduated terminators (eqquipped with Lightning Claws ) on there final challenege to become assualt terminators
the challange im facing is which chapter should the terminators belong to? i have used very loose fluff so keeping strict to the letter isnt too much of a problem, any ideas would be great, preferabley ones that specalise in hammers and shields

Seriously, this is quite possibly the most hard-to-read post I've seen on LO in a long time.
Allow me to point you to a resource that I feel would help you greatly... Spellchecker.net (Clicky!)
Now, what I think you're asking is, what chapter should you paint your Assault Termies in a 'mixed-chapter' army?
Well, there are no chapters that 'specialise' with Thunder hammers as such, though the Salamanders special character does have a perk that makes all Thunder Hammers count as master-crafted, so you could say the Salamanders have some specialisation with Hammers.
As a final note, If I'm reading your little fluffy story correctly (which isn't easy!), it seems that random chapters are sending out their marines for training with other chapters.
While this occurs in a sense, it is typically one veteran from a chapter that goes to train recruits in another chapter (Like Telion would train scouts in other chapters). The chances that Terminators - essentially some of the most senior veterans in any chapter - need training at all are very slim. They will have fought countless battles before getting a chance to wear Terminator armour!
So, Graduated Terminators? I dont think it works. Only the best of the best get a chance to wear Terminator armour, so they wont need to graduate from anything.
Firstly I apolagise for my crap spelling, its a combination of not very good typing skills mixed with dsylexia.
its not nessecaraly various chapters sending squads to be trained up within my army just the terminators.
the title is 'coalition of the raven' combat squads are provided by knights if the raven, vechiles by raven guard, assualt squad by..... and so on and so on.
Although i have read all the fluff story acompanying the rule book and codex Im no master of it in the least, as such its a very loosely themed army.
For the terminators i feel i have used the wrong words,
I mean something along the lines of 3 veterans and 2 new terminators, that havent yet earnt there worth within the terminators squad, although like you say only the best of the best are selected to be so. it was within the terminators that they are considerd 'not graduated' , a hirearchy within a hirearchy i guess
I havent looked at the salamanders, but from what you say they seem like something i will look into, again sorry for the annoying spelling.
Thanks for the tip on the salamaders though

Hey, no worries. And sorry for being a bit harsh on the spelling/etc. I too suffer from a Dyslexia on quite a broad scale, I just take the time to spell check everything two or three times, and proof read everything before I hit the submit button, and even then I cock-up a bit.
Do give Sallies a look into. They might be just what you're after =)
Space Marine veterans are still trained in the use of Tactical Dreadnaught Armour once they have received Terminator Honours, so you could have some greenhorns as such inside a terminator squad.
Personally your army kind sounds like DeathWatch, where the best of the chapters come together for certain missions, led by in your instance Shrike.
So you could maybe do that fluff wise and just use Raven related chapters?
can you elaborate on DeathWatch or point me in the right direction to read up on them some more?

cheers will have a read up now.
