Well which one do you think is the superior choice in a tournament?
On the up side they are moderately tough and armed with power weapons.
On the down side they kill themselves and may need your opponent's help in order to make a decent contribution to the game.
Repentia need to be taken in large numbers to have a hope of even surviving to swing in combat, so they are going to be a big investment. Plus you'll need to buy something to screen them on the way in.
On the up side they are nice models when painted.
On the down side they are highly vulnerable to both ranged fire and close combat, erratic in their movement, and they get less and less viable in combat as the unit takes casualties.
Remember, repentia arn't 0-1 because they are elite. They are 0-1 to stop inexperienced WH players from totally screwing themselves.
Lol i know they are both bad but i like Arco flagellants better.
The celestians won't be as badly hurt by the priest as a normal sisters unit and the arcos will be in a position to surge past and make a mark.
Arcos are so uncommon that you might catch people by surprise (or psych them out when you say 6d6 power weapons...)
Keep in mind that once you commit them they are gone, out of your hands, so don't hit the 'crazy' button prematurely - they'll just run out and get shot.
Thanks i will keep that in mind
In a choice between the two I always would choose the Repentia.
"The sword that takes life gives life."
I would choose repentia.
For my allies i was considering just taking a 5 man unit of stormtroopers with priest for 90 pts then taking the arco flaggelents.
Also do the arco flaggeles ge +1 attack for charging?
