So, how do my fellow Imperial Commanders rig up these two Leman Russ variants? I've got alot of bitz to work with. For the Vanquisher I've got the idea of snipping off the end of the standard Leman Russ battlecannon and putting some kiinda tubing in it to lengthen the barrel. I just dunno what kinda tubing to use or what to put on the end of it...
For the Punisher, again snipping the end off the stock barrel and putting some smaller tubes all around it. What do you guys do?

For the Vanquisher, go to a hobby store and buy an appropriate size of plastic tubing as you described (Measure what is in place beforehand) And yes, insert it in the center. Alternately you can also take some flexible plasticard and change the visual apperance of the muzzle of the cannon (Look at pictures of modern tanks or Imperial armor variants for ideas) For the punnisher there is very little need with the new model coming out on the first.
I have some burst cannon bits left over from when I had a Tau army, and I plan to convert an Executioner to a Punisher by putting one (or two) of them in the turret. If you want to try that yourself then I'm sure you can find some Tau players with the pieces--BCs are not very popular on Crisis Suits.
For a Vanquisher, try your local hardware store for a small piece of PVC/copper pipe and get a fitting to put on the end(s) of it. Should look good if you can get the scale right. I bet it'd look pretty neat if you filed a PVC pipe to make it a slab-sided tank barrel and then put some transfers on. Balsa wood is a bit too soft, I think, but hardwood rods might work.

For a Vanquisher have you considered using a spare pen you may have lying around? It may not sound as elegant as the other options presented, but it could work.
Space Marines: W15/L7/D3
Imperial Guard: W6/L4/D0
That's how I made mine, take a disposable Bic pen, use up all the ink, take out the ink cartridge and cut off or pop out the little colored piece at the end. The tapered piece at the head of the pen slips into the LR cannon and glues in easily. For a Vanquisher have you considered using a spare pen you may have lying around? As for the Punisher, I'd buy the new kit when it comes out. I don't have a Russ lying around and if I'm going to buy the chassis anyway...

I came, I saw, I got a different type of Leman Russ.

get one of the bic cheapo pens and saw it down to size. now saw off the part of the barrel that has the flash suppressor down to the barrel evac. now glue the pen to to the barrel evac. then take the flash suppressor and glue it to the new barrel. then it will look like the leman vanquisher.
to do a punshier i would say the burst cannons is a good idea. well i hope this helps.

I've seen a vanquisher made with a baneblade cannon, if you've got a friend with a hellhammer you could easily convert one up. For the punisher, just get the kit that's coming out.

I tried making a Vanquisher once, it didn't work out to well. I was going to buy a Punisher today(didn't know when it cam out) so it was a little disappointing, but they had a model of it in the display and they let me see it, it was awesome can't wait to get one so i just got another Chimera instead.
We who have seen war will never stop seeing it....In the silence of the night, we will always hear the screams....
I converted a Punisher cannon from a micro machines base gun I found in my closet. All my Russ turrets are now magnetized too!
Also an Executioner plasma cannon from micro machines.
Next up is the Vanquisher!.. Once I find a suitable tube.
i got a vanquisher but im to lazy to post pix of it.
