    Hellhound or Demolisher?

I've been saving my monies up for a while now in anticipation for the new kits to be released, and now I've come to a decision I can't seem to make my mind up on: Should I get the new Hellhound kit or the new Demolisher kit?

I've currently not got any Hellhounds, and my current army composition is composed of:

    Melta CCS
    4 Chimeras

    30-Man Inf. Platoon w/Commissar n Autocannons

    10-Man Psyker Squad

10-Man Stormtrooper squad (Just the Kasrkin box, haven't really used them yet and I need to get some meltas for em)

    3 MeltaVet squads

    1 Missile Pod Valkyrie

    2 Armored Sentinels

    1 Scout Sentinel

    2 LRBTs

    1 LRD

    Space Marines: W15/L7/D3
    Imperial Guard: W6/L4/D0
    Daemonhunters: W4/L1/D1

I voted the demolisher, it's better than the leman russ plus who doesn't want to try our a LRPunisher? Sure the punisher may not be the best russ variant but 29 S5 shots are just so tempting. Then there's the executioner, 5 plasma cannon shots a turn is just plain evil, in a good way.

Kevin has said what i was thinking. The new varients are cool and it will be fun to try them out.

However. You've already got your 3 Heavy slots filled in and squadroning Russ isn't the best thing in the world. As an add on to the army you already have i'd grab a Bane hound for some serious anti-MEQ

EDIT: Actually, thinking about it, If you bought the new Demolisher you'd have loads of spare turret weapons which you could use to turn your normal Russ into the varients. Just a thought.

i voted demolisher, but dont squadron it!

squadroning russes is one thing, but demolishers have to be closer anyway, so dont do it, it will kill your expensive tanks!

Tricky one for me, I like the new Demolisher kit and will probably buy one, eventually, but I also like the Devil Dog......

Yeah I'm with Liffrea, I'll probably get one of each because I really like the new Hellhound variants and plan to use them regularly, but I also can't pass up the chance at a nice new tank kit with slotta-weapons especially with two turret variants I don't currently own and plan on messing with at some point as well

Then I also need to pick up 2-3 more chimeras and another Valk...

    $$$ cash moneez $$$

In the end, I vote Hellhound, they are just fun, cheap (points), and effective.

You seem to have enough anti-infantry. Pair up those Demolishers!

I am always a fan of having 2 demolishers on the board (A given for me in 5th ed) I find that with the usefulness of the valkyrie and especially the vendetta that I am short on Fast attack spots and therefore never get to use a hellhound.
