I'm having some problems with this model. I want to model it with a hull mounted heavy bolter (which I think it comes with) and somehow magnetize the side sponsons.
The hull mounted weapon that swivels though is a lascannon and there are no other options for that, so how do I go about this? cut off the lascannon barrel and glue a heavy bolter one on or just leave it off altogether?
Im also not sure how to magnetize the side sponsons. should I just cut off the weapons from the turning part and magnetize that or should I magnetize the entire side sponson bay (Im not sure how I would do the whole thing)
Thanks for the help
Cut off the lascannon barrel and glue on the heavy bolter, a bit like this. The hull mounted weapon that swivels though is a lascannon and there are no other options for that, so how do I go about this? cut off the lascannon barrel and glue a heavy bolter one on or just leave it off altogether?
As for the sponsons, the best way would be to pick up a demolisher kit and magnetize those weapons, but with just the old kit I think the whole assembly would be easier to assemble.

I hand an old russ laying around, but when i got the set of 3 it came with the new ones, and one didn't have a bottom, so i called GW customer service and they gave me a new one, and i took the bottom off my old one and made 4 new tanks instead of 3 lol.
