Title says it all:
At first glance it seems like a good pairing, Ordnance Barrage needs to stand still to fire and you need to stand still to gain the effects of Camo Netting. Since you'll probably be giving your squishy artillery a cover save anyway, it seems like the perfect match.
On the flip side, Camo Netting is very expensive, perhaps too much so for what it does.
So what do you guys think? Caramel and Chocolate, or too points heavy to justify?
Space Marines: W15/L7/D3
Imperial Guard: W6/L4/D0
Personally I've got to say, No not really. The whole point of Artillary is that they can shoot while not being seen. If your opponent can see them then you're doing something wrong.
Lets face it AV12/10/10 and open topped these guys wont be living long if the enemy can see them anyway. If a 4+ Cover save won't save you a 3+ Cover save won't either.
We're Guard. Why spend loads of points making our tanks 'slightly' harder to kill when we can just buy another tank?

On Warseer: Iracundus: "So you might end up with "renegade" Chapters, but more split due to ideology rather than because the big bogeyman of Chaos suddenly makes them all cackling mustache twirling villains."
It's a lot harder to hide in 5th edition. I would consider camo cloaks worth it on important pieces, especially the Medusa. You just need to stick a Chimer in front of it and enjoy your power armored tank.
Ask me about the Black and White Space Marine on the Black and White Bike!!!
Because Medusas aren't barrage duh.
Also, unless your board consists of 6" high intact walls your artillery will be seen by something. TLOS is just that, if they can see any part of the hull, it can be shot up and 'sploded.
